IBI Healthcare Institute was established in 2011 by two dedicated physicians who initially opened a private practice called Georgia Surgicare in the Atlanta area. Their practice experienced rapid growth, prompting them to relocate to a larger facility in Loganville in 2012.

At the Loganville location, they began developing a cutting-edge surgery center, which officially opened in 2014. This advanced facility attracted patients from diverse locations, with some traveling considerable distances to receive treatment.
